AKKA Ultimate Club invites you to the first edition of The Goose Hat  

4-5 September 2010

Hällestad, Lund, Sweden.

Hat - Grass - Mixed - All levels

This will be an awesome weekend with lots of ultimate on lovely grass fields in the forest outside of Lund. We will also run to the quarry, do yoga on the "beach" and party all night long. We sleep, eat and party at the fields. Camping only! and yes you can go into the forest and find two good trees for your hammock… however it is Sweden and it is September. I can’t promise anything.

To register, send an email to hanna /at/ frisbee.se with the following info:

1) Name

2) Age

3) gender

4) Whole package or play only

5) Level of play (1= beginner 2= intermediate 3= professional)

6) Allergies? 

How to get there:

If you are flying, the best way is to fly into Copenhagen airport. Some airlines fly into Malmö airport, this is also a good choice.

Check http://www.norwegian.com for good deals

Trains from Copenhagen to Lund are frequent. Buses to Torna Hällestad are fickle, but if you can't time it well, we will come and pick you up in Lund!

If you are driving, just write Torna Hällestad in your GPS.

The tournament is on http://www.ffindr.com and they have a great map showing where we are playing.

Last day for registration: 4/8
The maximum number of players will this year be kept at 100 - in order to keep the tournament cozy and friendly.

Akka invites you to a 2 day hat tournament in the forrest outside of Lund, Sweden.
The format is HAT* and we play on grass.
Come and play, party, run in the forrest and swim in the quarry.

The weekend is mostly focusing on the tournament. But we will be offering some sprinting and throwing clinics coached by some awsome people and perhaps we will get some yoga by the lake after the games.

Anyone of any level is welcome. Old masters and new beginners. Join in the fun in the forrest.

• Hat tournament = a tournament in which you sign up as a player and not as a team. All names will be put in a "hat" and the teams will be pulled from there. A great way to meet new people! and learn new things.
